We hope your new year has started well, and that you’re working toward your writing goals! While the weather is currently cold, we’ve already got our sights set on spring and all the promises it brings…
Join us in April for a Fast Draft Writing Retreat!
From April 23-27, we’re going to be in beautiful, warm Wimberly Texas for our annual Fast Draft Writing Retreat!
During this retreat, you’ll have a chance for one-on-one learning with both Beth and Cristin as we discuss tips on outlining and how to best craft your novel with efficiency (and, yes, speed). You’ll partner with fellow writers (and potential future critique buddies) as you explore your idea and strategize the most marketable, tightest written draft.
Our Texas retreats are designed to be economical, with your budget in mind, and we have varying opportunities for writers of all different levels. We work in the mornings with both group and one-on-one learning, and the evenings are shared in peaceful writing time at the serene ranch and boisterous fun as you join our community of like-minded writers!
At our retreats, we make it simple for you to focus on writing. You don’t have to worry about meals, schedules, or logistics—we take care of it all!
We’re here to answer any questions, and we hope you can join us this April!
Nervous about joining us? We get it—we’re awkward writers, too! That’s why we offer a month of Word Lab free for all retreat attendees. Get a feel for us—and your fellow retreaters—in biweekly online write-in sessions the month before the retreat.
Congratulations, Meredith Adamo, for winning the Morris Award!
When Cristin and I read early pages of Not Like Other Girls, we knew Meredith had something special on her hands! And we’re thrilled that the world agrees—Meredith recently won the Morris Award, one of the highest awards a debut author can achieve from the American Library Association. Congratulations, Meredith!!!!
As always, thank you for joining us in your creative goals. If you have any questions or want to reach out for any reason, don’t hesitate to contact us!
Happy writing!
