Help Us Pick a New Logo & WIN!!
Plus details about our upcoming seminar that you do NOT want to miss!
We hinted before that big changes were coming, and we’re almost ready to launch them! This month, you’ll be getting two newsletters simply because we have so much happening—but after that we’ll be back to our regular monthly schedule.
Before we can show you everything, we need to finish up a complete revamp of our beloved website. It’s almost ready to go…but we can’t decide on the final logo form! Cristin and I are torn…so we’d like to ask you for help. And as thanks, one person who contributes a vote will win a free Wordsmith Workshop class (more about that below…)
Option One: Streamlined Bean
Option 2: Swirly Circle
So…which of these two logos do you like best? Click the button below to vote and submit your email for a free drawing of a Wordsmith Workshops class!
And about that prize…
You’ll be getting more information by the end of the month, but we’re ridiculously excited to announce an upcoming series of online classes! Beth took her Paper Hearts Workbook and turned it into a four-hour series of online classes, each hour broken up into interactive, fun segments that will take from you idea to plotted book! PLUS there’s an additional fifth workshop on how to plan a productive writing session! Each of these workshops are going to be available online, and each one comes with downloadable packets of worksheets and program ideas. This is epic, and we’re ridiculously excited to debut this special new feature. More information will be available in our next newsletter, along with links of our shiny new website, so in the meantime, please vote for your favorite logo so we can wrap up the website and get you closer to that launch!
Upcoming Seminar: Julie Dao on Writing Complex Characters
Our next seminar is March 15, at 8pm ET. The amazing fantasy novelist Julie C. Dao will be teaching us on how to write complex characters.
Personally, Julie’s debut novel, Forest of a Thousand Lanterns, is one of Beth’s favorite books ever. The brilliant Snow White retelling in a fantasy Asian world shifts the narrative to focus on the origin of the “evil queen” character. Rich and beautiful, Julie’s writing style is the perfect balance against such a dark character exploration, and the narrative will have you on the edge of your seat. We are so excited to have Julie with us for this very special live seminar!
Don’t forget our other services:
